TITLE: Teacher Aide
REPORT TO: Vice Principal
STATUS: Full-time, non-exempt
Position Summary
Redlands Adventist Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Aide who is committed to supporting our Christ-centered educational mission. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and demonstrate a heart for service, a love for learning, and a desire to help students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. This position plays a vital role in assisting classroom teachers, providing supervision, supporting student interventions, and fostering a positive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist classroom teachers with instructional support, classroom organization, and preparation of materials
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need academic reinforcement or behavioral redirection
  • Deliver educational interventions and follow plans as directed by teachers and/or support staff
  • Supervise students in a variety of settings, including the classroom, playground, lunch area, and school events
  • Help maintain a safe, orderly, and Christ-centered classroom and school environment
  • Model Christian character and values in words and actions, supporting the school's spiritual objectives
  • Communicate respectfully and effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • Assist with classroom displays, bulletin boards, and organization of student materials
  • Attend staff devotionals, meetings, and trainings as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or administration
