Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide hands-on recruiting support across active requisitions and high-volume hiring needs. This role will partner closely with Recruiters to conduct candidate screenings, manage recruiting workflows, and deliver a professional candidate experience while keeping hiring processes moving efficiently.

  • Job Type: Contract - 6+ months
  • Location: Remote - PST hours
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $40.00-$44.00/hr W2

What You'll Do:

  • Support Recruiters with candidate review, dispositioning, pipeline management, job postings, and multiple active requisitions.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and interest while documenting detailed screening notes and recommendations.
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate follow-ups, and communication to keep the recruiting process moving efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate applicant tracking system data, recruiting documentation, requisition updates, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Recruiters, TA Coordinators, and HR partners to support high-volume hiring needs and short turnaround timelines.

What Gets You the Job:

  • 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR support, with corporate or contract experience preferred.
  • Experience conducting candidate phone screens and supporting multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience working with Workday as an applicant tracking system.
  • Strong communication, organization, time-management, and attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting and familiarity with Phenom are preferred.
