Job Summary:
With minimal supervision, the Workday Systems Functional Analyst assesses business needs, documents objectives, and serves as the ERP subject matter expert. This role supports system design, configuration, implementation, and optimization to ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, regulatory compliance, efficient workflows, and a high-quality user experience. The analyst develops process documentation, testing criteria, project plans, and provides ongoing support to end users across the organization.
Essential Job Duties:
System Configuration and Support
- Configure business processes, security, dashboards, reports, calculated fields, and EIBs.
- Document workflows and create user friendly procedures.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to end users.
- Perform data analysis to support decision making.
- Manage change communications, test system changes, and maintain documentation.
- Collaborate with teams and vendors; communicate system updates.
- Support business continuity and validate system integrity after downtimes.
Problem Solving
- Troubleshoot complex Workday issues; perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain data integrity through audits and governance practices.
- Mentor junior analysts.
- Prioritize requests based on operational and regulatory needs.
- Track, escalate, and coordinate issue resolution with IT and vendors.
- Meet on call expectations and SLAs.
Professional Performance
- Provide team support and mentorship.
- Maintain certifications and apply new knowledge.
- Ensure accurate, timely communication and reduce duplicative work.

Integrated Application Management

Education:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent extensive work experience in managing Enterprise resource Management systems (Workday)
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business or systems analysis or similar degree with emphasis on data/information analysis (Workday)
Experience:
Required:
3 years' Workday, with proven expertise in planning, configuring, deploying Workday HCM with a thorough understanding of database construction and system integrations.
Preferred:
3-5+ years' Workday Configuration.
Healthcare experience
Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration
Required:
Complete education and pass certification in primary Workday application module(s) within 120 days of completed education and maintaining certification(s) as required.
