Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs of patients, ensuring tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisors, direct care staff, families, guardians, and other stakeholders to discuss patient progress and adjustments to treatment, fostering an environment of transparency and collaboration.
  • Provide a structured schedule of client appointments, home visits, and observations to monitor the effectiveness of interventions and support compliance with the treatment plan.
  • Coordinate home visits for hands-on observations, facilitate chart reviews, conduct staff interviews, and perform data analysis to create holistic treatment strategies.
  • Effectively implement and adjust program plans to ensure they align with evidence-based practices and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights, share patient updates, and collaborate on best practices.
  • Document monthly and quarterly progress notes to track patient development and outcomes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Design and deliver training sessions focused on staff competency regarding program implementation and documentation practices.
  • Conduct follow-up interviews and home visits to provide ongoing support tailored to clients’ evolving needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between Cure Connect and the wider mental health community, facilitating partnerships that support client goals.
  • Assist in creating and refining training materials aimed at enhancing the overall quality of care delivered.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working with a diverse client population, including both adults and youth. Counselors will provide therapy for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, substance misuse, and other psychological challenges. Our approach is to empower clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their mental wellness through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia is essential.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, with a preference for clinical settings.
  • Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical requirements in mental health practice.
