Job description

Business Systems Analyst

Located in the Atlanta, GA area. Must be able to go into the office (Flowers Road, Atlanta GA 30341) one day a week on Wednesdays.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and deploy low-code solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse to streamline business processes.
  2. Participate in meetings with senior officials from HHS, ASPR, and SNS.
  3. Analyze existing or proposed procedures, systems, strategies, services; identify needs for improvement or assist in development of methods and resources to accomplish such improvements.
  4. Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate and document requirements. Work with IT teams to develop, configure and test systems that meet business requirements.
  5. Conduct data mining, analysis, modeling from structured and unstructured data using analytics tools (e.g., Excel and Power BI). Extract insights to develop findings, inferences, conclusions, and recommendations. Translate the results of analysis into clear, actionable communications that equip decision makers to make informed, data-driven decisions based on data analytics.
  6. Create, develop, and publish sustainable reports and dashboards that update with current data on a reoccurring basis.
  7. Develop and maintain working relationships with appropriate organizations to meet the needs of the program’s mission
  8. Research, collect, compile, and review qualitative and quantitative information and data for use in program decisions.
  9. Assist with the preparation of system recommendations to senior officials.
  10. Maintain continuous readiness posture by remaining flexible to respond 24 hours a day, year-round. Support emergency management/incident response junctions as needed to accomplish the program's mission.
  11. Perform other related research, analysis, and related tasks and assignments in support of Business Systems Analyst Services.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent + 4 years' related experience

Skills required but are not limited to:

1. Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical, low-code solutions. (i.e. Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse)

  1. Ability to prioritize tasks and scope with occasional periods of stress when dealing with critical situations.
  2. Demonstrates strong customer relations capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction with SNS services.
