The ideal candidate will translate complex business requirements into functional specifications, support system enhancements, and drive process improvements that support Lennar's financial operations at scale.

  • Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Land, and FP&A stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications & process flows for development teams.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current-state processes and desired future-state functionality.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.

Finance Systems Support (Oracle E1 & Hyperion)

  • Serve as a subject matter resource on Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules relevant to finance (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Land/Job Cost).
  • Support Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) , and/or Essbase processes related to budgeting, forecasting, and consolidations for FP&A.
  • Assist in configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of finance-related Oracle modules alongside technical teams.

Project & Testing Support

  • Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations, including test plan development, execution, and defect tracking
  • Coordinate with LTG, external vendors, and business teams throughout the SDLC - from requirements through deployment and post-go-live support
  • Work with the Lennar Success University on training materials and support end-user adoption of new tools, reports, or process changes

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify opportunities to streamline finance workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy and controls.
  • Support the design and validation of financial reports and dashboards used by Accounting, Treasury, Land, and FP&A leadership.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain process/system documentation.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a trusted advisor between business users and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
  • Provide regular status updates to finance leadership and LTG project stakeholders.
  • Escalate risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of business analyst experience supporting Finance, Accounting, or FP&A functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of core accounting and finance processes (general ledger, treasury operations, land/job costing, budgeting & forecasting).
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1), particularly finance-related modules.
  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion (Planning, HFM, or Essbase) for budgeting, forecasting, or financial consolidation.
  • Demonstrated experience writing functional specs, conducting UAT, and managing requirements documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work across both business and technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in homebuilding, real estate, or land development finance.
  • Familiarity with SQL or data querying tools for validating financial data.
  • Experience with SDLC/Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Github, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Prior experience supporting Oracle system upgrades, implementations, or M&A finance system integrations.
  • Six Sigma, PMP, or Business Analysis certification (CBAP) a plus.

Key Competencies

  • Business process expertise paired with technical fluency.
  • Stakeholder management across finance, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Strong attention to detail with a controls/compliance mindset.
