Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand clients’ mental health needs and establish effective treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, primarily focusing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to meet therapeutic goals.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements, including documentation and confidentiality protocols.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training initiatives to stay updated with the latest therapeutic methodologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, as needed, to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will cater to adults primarily, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more. This role will require you to adapt therapeutic approaches to fit the individual needs of each client, ensuring a compassionate and client-centered focus.

Qualifications

• A master’s level degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice therapy in the state of Nevada, including LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience providing psychotherapy and mental health support to adults.
• Demonstrated competency in conducting intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment planning with thorough documentation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively document sessions and communicate with clients and colleagues.
• A clean disciplinary record with no actions taken against you by any licensing board in any jurisdiction.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proficient in using digital platforms for remote counseling and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting, contributing to a cohesive and resourceful counseling team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
