Surplus lines insurance professionals help clients obtain coverage for unique or high-risk situations that admitted carriers may not insure. These roles often include underwriting, brokering, compliance, or customer service, and require knowledge of state regulations and surplus lines laws. Working remotely, employees use digital tools to communicate with clients, underwriters, and regulatory bodies.

These skills ensure compliance with complex regulations, minimize risk, and foster trustworthy client relationships in a specialized insurance market.
