This full-time counselor position operates primarily in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while still maintaining strong connections with students and school personnel. Regular business hours will be complemented by occasional evening availability, particularly during critical periods such as exam weeks or school events, thereby ensuring responsiveness to students' needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and mental health screenings for students to identify needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide short-term individual counseling services focusing on various issues, including anxiety, depression, peer relationships, and academic challenges.
• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops on topics such as stress management, social skills, and emotional regulation, thereby fostering a supportive peer environment.
• Collaborate closely with school faculty, administrators, and educational support staff to create an integrated support system for students, ensuring seamless care delivery.
• Participate in outreach initiatives including mental health awareness campaigns, aiming to educate the school community about available resources and strategies for maintaining mental wellness.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, adhering to the ethical and legal standards established by the industry, thereby ensuring compliance and integrity in care.

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged individuals facing various mental health challenges. Counselors will engage with students from diverse backgrounds, offering support tailored to their unique circumstances and developmental stages. Understanding the environmental, social, and emotional factors impacting students' mental health is essential in providing effective treatment.

• An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred for a more in-depth understanding of therapeutic methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital to engage effectively with students, families, school staff, and community resources.
• A demonstrated understanding of evidence-based therapies and brief treatment models applicable to school environments.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, managing a varying caseload and prioritizing responsibilities with meticulous attention to detail.

• Prior experience working within educational settings, particularly in delivering counseling services to adolescents.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices geared specifically towards youth and family therapy.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and school administrators, to provide holistic support.

• Annual salary ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for performance-based increases.
