Job Description

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) and prior experience in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and ensuring Oracle SCM solutions align with organizational goals.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Oracle SCM modules (Order Management, Inventory, Procurement, Purchasing).
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and ensure seamless integration with technical teams.
  • Partner with development, QA, and operations teams during solution design, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Lead workshops, requirement sessions, and system demos with stakeholders.
  • Support system testing cycles (UAT, SIT) and assist with defect resolution.
  • Develop process documentation, workflow diagrams, and training materials for end-users.
  • Ensure Oracle SCM configurations support healthcare industry compliance, data accuracy, and business continuity.
  • Participate in production support, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) working with Oracle SCM modules.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Order Management, Inventory, Procurement, and related SCM functions.
  • Proven experience working in the healthcare industry (required).
  • Ability to facilitate requirements workshops and translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
  • Experience in system testing cycles, UAT coordination, and supporting go-live activities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Local to the San Francisco Bay Area (preferred for occasional on-site presence).

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of ERP integrations with Finance, CRM, or third-party applications.
  • Experience with data migration and reporting within Oracle SCM.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
