Position Overview

Summit Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This unique role offers licensed clinicians the chance to provide high-quality mental health services from the comfort of their own homes while enjoying flexible scheduling options. As an LPC, you will play a crucial role in empowering clients to overcome mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being.

About the Organization

Summit Healthcare Group is a progressive mental health organization committed to delivering exceptional care to our clients. We specialize in providing personalized therapy and counseling services via a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, ensuring confidentiality and security. Our mission is to foster a supportive and nurturing environment where clients can explore their emotions, cope with lifeโ€™s challenges, and achieve their therapeutic goals. We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach and dedication to professional growth for our staff.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing professionals to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection. Our outpatient office setup supports counselors in providing services that are not only convenient but also conducive to client-focused care. By offering cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) systems, we ensure that counselors can maintain compliance with insurance requirements while focusing on what matters most: the clientโ€™s journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate counseling services to clients, conducting assessments to understand their needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on skill development, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.
  • Implement treatment protocols aimed at addressing a wide range of mental health conditions, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and dual diagnoses.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client progress and therapeutic interventions utilizing our cloud-based EHR.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance service delivery and share best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients who may be dealing with various mental health issues, from common stressors to more complex mental health disorders. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, and you will have the chance to make a significant difference in their lives by helping them navigate their challenges in a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field is required.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling is required.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in using telehealth platforms, electronic health record systems, and video conferencing tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with teletherapy and knowledge of telehealth best practices.
  • Background in trauma-informed care or experience in managing dual diagnoses.
  • Familiarity with insurance billing and compliance, particularly with Medicaid and Medicare.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with education, experience, and specialization. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health, dental, and life insurance options to ensure your medical needs are covered.
  • A 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions to help you save for the future.
  • Paid time off and holidays to promote work-life balance.
  • Health savings accounts (HSAs) to support your healthcare costs.
  • Opportunities for professional development assistance, including funding for continuing education.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Summit Healthcare Group, we value continuous growth and development. We encourage our counselors to pursue further training, certifications, and licensure in specialized areas of interest. As you progress in your career, there are opportunities for leadership roles within our organization, as well as avenues to contribute to program development and community outreach efforts.

Why Join Our Team

Joining Summit Healthcare Group means becoming part of a passionate and supportive community that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our clients. Our remote working environment offers the flexibility needed for a balanced life, while our commitment to staff development ensures that you have the tools and support necessary to thrive as a mental health professional.
