Description

SAIC is seeking qualified applicants to support a cutting-edge data, analytics, and AI platform. Roles include managing customer relationships, service portfolio and catalog management, software engineering & development, data/AI engineering, IT systems operations, and use case intake and analytics for DoW enterprise-scale mission objectives expected in Spring/Summer 2026.   

Positions are contingent pending contract award.

The work will be performed in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (WDCMA). Some work may be performed remotely, subject to Government approval.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the IPMO Document Management System.
  • Develop clear, comprehensive, data-informed documentation.
  • Leverage large language models (LLMs) such as the RetrievalAugmented, Generation Enabled Virtual Assistant (REVA) to provide clear, comprehensive, and relevant documentation and Plans informed by repository data and user-uploaded files.
  • Leads team of Documentation Specialist; may assist in layout work.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update the Project Management Plan (PMP).
  • Prepare Trip Reports, including a detailed description of the purpose of the trip and any knowledge gained.
  • Write technical materials, such as equipment manuals, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance is required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and competencies

  • Ability to write and update material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications.
  • Ability to create documents that describe or explain work methods, procedures, installation, operation, and maintenance.  
  • Knowledge of the application of basic principles, theories, and concepts and Industry practices and standards.  
  • Skills to refine the work of writers.
  • Skills to lead and coordinate the activities of writers engaged in preparing technical, scientific, medical, or other material for publication.
  • Skills to work in conjunction with or independent from manufacturing, research, and related activities.
  • Ability to leverage large language models (LLMs) for analysis and programmatic documentation creation.
