This position is set in a fully remote environment, utilizing telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions. • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to understand each client's substance abuse history and co-occurring mental health issues.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both addiction and underlying psychological factors, utilizing a strengths-based perspective.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using best practice methodologies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Regularly collaborate with other treatment providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
• Provide family education sessions to engage loved ones in the recovery process, fostering a supportive home environment.
• Maintain precise and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations, documenting treatment progress and adjustments as necessary.

This position focuses on individuals facing challenges with substance abuse, including but not limited to alcohol and drug dependence. Our clients often experience dual diagnoses that include anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders, necessitating an integrative therapeutic approach. As a mental health therapist with Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your expertise will guide clients on their recovery journey, helping them achieve lasting change and reintegrate successfully into their communities.

• Must possess a valid mental health license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
• Formal training or substantial experience in addiction counseling, with a keen understanding of substance use disorders.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities for substance use and dual diagnosis clients.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with a proactive approach to client motivation and engagement.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for effective collaboration in a remote setting.

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), or other therapeutic techniques relevant to addiction treatment will have a competitive advantage. Additional experience in telehealth delivery is also beneficial.

Your commitment to helping others is rewarded with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
