In this remote role, you will collaborate with educational professionals from multiple school districts, ensuring that students receive holistic support within their familiar learning environments. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health status, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and specific needs.
• Provide individual therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help students develop coping strategies and emotional regulation.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with multidisciplinary team members, including school counselors and educational staff, to ensure continuity of care and address the academic performance of students.
• Support family engagement by educating families about mental health diagnoses, treatment plans, and available resources, fostering a supportive home environment.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions aiming at peer support and skill-building among students facing similar challenges, and promote mental health awareness through psychoeducation.
• Assist patients and stakeholders in navigating the mental health system, advocating for their rights and needs, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate care.

Your primary focus will be on students ranging from elementary to high school age, who are facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. By addressing these complexities within the school environment, you will contribute directly to the students' academic success and overall well-being, fostering resilience and self-esteem.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and crisis intervention practices.
• Exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Experience working in school settings or with child and adolescent populations is preferred.
