Position Overview

Allegheny Family Connection Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. In this primarily remote role, you will provide vital telehealth services to individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate various mental health challenges and improve their emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health conditions in clients, leveraging a variety of assessment tools and clinical interviews.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to clients’ needs.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans that address specific mental health challenges, including but not limited to family conflicts, grief, separation, and adjustment issues.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
  • Provide referrals to specialized services when needed and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive client care.
  • Maintain detailed records of client sessions and treatment notes in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Allegheny Family Connection Center, you will serve a diverse clientele including individuals facing substance abuse issues, families experiencing conflict or separation, and clients dealing with trauma or loss. You will play a key role in guiding them through their challenges while promoting mental health awareness and resilience.

Qualifications
  • Must possess an active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Texas.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
  • Strong understanding of psychological and therapeutic practices and procedures related to family counseling.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in telehealth or virtual therapy environments is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with treatment approaches for blended families, job stress, and medical issues can be beneficial.
  • Specialized training in family dynamics and trauma can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
