You will have the autonomy to manage your schedule while providing therapy and assessments through telehealth platforms. • Conduct thorough assessments to gather comprehensive information about students' emotional and behavioral issues, collaborating with teachers and parents to gain insights into their experiences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques in individual, group, and family counseling settings.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, regularly reviewing progress with students and adapting strategies as necessary to meet their evolving needs.
• Engage students in collaborative discussions to enhance their motivation, promote self-efficacy, and establish trusting therapeutic relationships.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with educators and support staff to facilitate holistic interventions and enhance student supports in the academic setting.
• Adhere strictly to confidentiality protocols and ethical guidelines as mandated by professional standards and state licensure requirements.
• Contribute to the development of wellness initiatives and strategies aimed at promoting a positive school climate.
• Continuously pursue professional development through training, workshops, and staying informed about new research and treatment methodologies.

The primary focus of this role is on a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment difficulties, among others. By addressing these concerns in a school setting, you will help mitigate barriers to academic achievement and promote overall student well-being.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program, ensuring a strong foundation in clinical practice.
• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
• Demonstrated competence in diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and execution of psychosocial interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with students, families, and school personnel effectively.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, ideally within a school or educational setting, where you have worked directly with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technologies that facilitate remote counseling and mental health support.
• Knowledge of current trends in youth mental health and educational policy.
