• Conduct thorough assessments of students' emotional and mental health needs through individual interviews and standardized tools.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each student's unique circumstances, goals, and cultural context.
• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic techniques to address issues such as trauma, anxiety, and depression, adapting your approach as necessary to meet the needs of diverse clients.
• Document and maintain accurate client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals within the interdisciplinary treatment team to enhance student support and outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest research, skills, and techniques in social work and mental health, integrating new knowledge into practice.

Your primary focus will be on students ranging from elementary to high school age who present with various mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in creating supportive therapeutic spaces that encourage open dialogue and healing. By tailoring interventions specifically to the school environment, you will help students navigate their emotional landscapes and equip them with coping strategies that promote overall well-being.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active LCSW license in the state of Georgia.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with students, parents, and school personnel.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, enabling you to identify and address complex emotional concerns.
• Flexibility and adaptability, thriving in an evolving work environment while maintaining a focus on client-centered care.

• Experience working within school systems or with youth populations is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with teletherapy and digital mental health platforms is advantageous.
• Previous work with trauma-informed care practices and culturally competent methodologies will be highly regarded.
