About the Opportunity

Ellucian is seeking a Prosci Change Management Consultant to join our Strategic Services team. In this role, you will help higher education institutions successfully navigate complex organizational and technology transformations by aligning people, processes, and technology.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and human-centered transformation. You will partner closely with institutional leadership, faculty, administrators, and staff to develop and execute organizational change management strategies that drive adoption, reduce resistance, and maximize long-term value from technology investments.

The ideal candidate brings a strong consulting mindset, hands-on organizational change management experience, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels within higher education environments.

What you will bringLead Organizational Change Initiatives
  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies for enterprise technology and business transformation initiatives
  • Tailor change approaches to the unique culture and operational needs of higher education institutions
  • Partner with institutional leadership teams to align transformation goals and stakeholder expectations
Drive Stakeholder Engagement & Adoption
  • Build strong relationships with faculty, staff, students, and executive leadership
  • Conduct stakeholder assessments and develop engagement strategies to foster buy-in and adoption
  • Identify resistance points and implement proactive mitigation strategies
Communication & Training
  • Create and execute communication plans that clearly articulate the vision, value, and impact of transformation initiatives
  • Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and enablement materials for end users and leadership teams
  • Facilitate executive presentations, change workshops, and adoption sessions
Organizational Readiness & Consulting
  • Conduct organizational readiness assessments and impact analyses
  • Evaluate organizational culture, business processes, and technology ecosystems to recommend holistic change solutions
  • Define success metrics and KPIs to measure adoption and program effectiveness
Collaboration & Delivery
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, and client leadership teams
  • Support multiple client engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Lead virtual meetings and workshops while managing remote client relationships effectively

What you will bring 

  • 4-10 years of experience in Organizational Change Management, Consulting, Customer Success, or Transformation Leadership
  • Prosci Certification or certification in a recognized change management methodology
  • Experience leading enterprise change initiatives within higher education or ERP/SaaS transformation environments
  • Strong understanding of higher education operations and institutional structures
  • Experience supporting ERP platforms such as Banner, Colleague, Workday, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership and navigate complex organizational environments
  • Experience designing and delivering training and communication strategies
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment with up to 25% travel
Extra Credit
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
  • Advanced degree in Business, Organizational Development, Change Management, Higher Education, or related field
  • Experience within consulting or client-facing professional services organizations
