Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position emphasizes working with a diverse student population, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, social challenges, and trauma-related issues. As a therapist, your role will involve not just individual therapy sessions but also active participation in group therapy settings that facilitate peer bonding and collective healing.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Possession of a master's degree or a doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and build a therapeutic rapport.
  • Cultural competence, demonstrating respect for and inclusion of individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills for effective documentation and management of client records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a school setting or providing therapy to children and adolescents is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Comprehensive School Mental Health Programs and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS).
  • Knowledge of state-specific mental health laws and school policies regarding student support services.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
