  • You will develop, plan, and coordinate all maintenance and repair work for SWFPAC, including developing and maintaining the SWFPAC Life Cycle Replacement Program.
  • You will conduct special interest projects specified by management to include facility, layaway plans, special project documentation, equipment failure summary reports, and Annual Inspection Summary (AIS) report.
  • You will track discretionary and corrective maintenance/repair, moves, and other Base Operating Service Contract (BOSC) provided service call support to ensure this resource is being effectively and efficiently used
  • You will be responsible for a number of the command's facilities, ensuring the facilities are in good operating condition and initiating corrective actions, as necessary.
  • You will provide assessments of the BOSC support in the areas of janitorial, Roads and Grounds, Pest Control, and Facility and Utility Maintenance and Repair. and assesses contractor performance by providing a written summary on a quarterly basis

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
  • This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, coordinating, and administering facility maintenance, repair, and lifecycle replacement projects from development through construction and closeout; evaluating contractor performance and ensuring compliance for Base Operating Service Contracts (BOSC) encompassing facility and utility maintenance; overseeing facility service call programs and managing utility outages to resolve operational impacts; and developing facility-related documentation (i.e. Basic Facility Requirements, property records, and special project reports).

This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
