About the Practice
Mineral King Radiological Medical Group is a well-established, physician-owned private practice based in Visalia, California, serving the community for over 50 years. The group consists of 10 partnered radiologists and is affiliated with Kaweah Health Medical Center, a 581-bed Level III trauma center.

The practice provides coverage for the main hospital, multiple outpatient imaging centers, and a physician-owned outpatient interventional radiology center.

Technology & Support:

  • PACS: Synapse

  • EMR: Cerner & Fuji

  • Dictation: PowerScribe

  • Advanced Practice Support: 3 Physician Assistants (expanding to 4)

Teleradiologist Part Time (Remote)

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (fellowship-trained preferred, CAQ optional) to join a growing and highly regarded IR program.

Schedule & Call
  • Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

  • Call:

    • Weekday: 1:4 (5 PM 8 AM)

    • Weekend: 1:4 (48-hour coverage)

Practice Structure
  • 7075% Interventional Radiology / 2530% Diagnostic Radiology

  • Shared cross-sectional reading responsibilities

  • IR physicians assist with general imaging when not in procedures

Procedural Work
  • Hospital angiography suite (majority of cases)

  • Physician-owned outpatient IR center (OBL)

Case Mix Includes:

  • Trauma interventions (Level III Trauma Center)

  • Varicose vein treatments

  • UFE, GAE

  • ERSD access procedures

  • Planned Y-90 program launch (2025)

Team Environment
  • 4 Interventional Radiologists currently

Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time)

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: Starting at $550,000+

  • Sign-on Bonus: $100,000

  • Loan Repayment: $100,000

  • Relocation: Up to $15,000

  • Internal moonlighting opportunities

Partnership:

  • Track: 12 years

  • Buy-in: ~$40,000 (typically covered by first bonus)

  • Partner earnings: $750,000$900,000+ (IR can exceed $1M with call/standby)
