Sunny Skies Wellness & Healing Center is actively seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide essential mental health services in a remote capacity. This full-time role allows you to make a significant impact on the lives of children and their families within a school-based setting. You will be directly involved in crafting and executing therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting mental health and emotional well-being among our diverse student population.

  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques to assist students in managing emotions, thereby enhancing their academic and social experiences.
  • Deliver individual and group counseling sessions, employing third-wave therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive case management, sharing insights on treatment progress during regular team meetings.
  • Provide families with resources, training, and support to positively influence their child’s development and well-being.
  • Document clinical interactions and progress in a timely fashion, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and agency protocols.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve children and adolescents within the school system who may be experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and trauma-related issues. Your culturally competent approach will guide your interactions, ensuring that every student receives personalized attention that respects their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
  • Possession of a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Word, along with experience in electronic health record systems for managing client information.

Compensation and Benefits
