• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of students and their families, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to meet their unique circumstances.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioral techniques, to address various mental health challenges.
• Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation in compliance with local and federal regulations, utilizing digital health records for streamlined recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, educators, and administrative staff to develop integrated care plans that support students' academic and emotional well-being.
• Facilitate case consultations and participate in peer review meetings to evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify strategies as necessary.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mental health and available support systems.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in the field of social work and mental health to enhance care delivery.

This role primarily involves working with children and adolescents in a school setting, addressing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. By applying your expertise in solution-based therapies, you will help students cope with their difficulties, thereby improving their educational outcomes and overall quality of life. You will also play a crucial role in providing crisis intervention, supporting students in achieving their academic and personal goals.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia is essential.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health settings, preferably with children and adolescents.
