As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in this position, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and create individualized treatment plans.
• Delivering various therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and integrative approaches tailored to the unique circumstances of each student.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA standards to ensure patient confidentiality and best practices in care.
• Collaborating closely with educational staff, mental health professionals, and families to develop a cohesive support network tailored to each child.
• Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations to enhance care quality, sharing insights and strategies for student engagement and success.
• Providing psychoeducation to students and families, helping them understand mental health issues, therapeutic options, and applicable community resources.
• Staying abreast of the latest research and developments in mental health care, incorporating evidence-based practices into your clinical work.

Your primary focus will be working with school-aged children and adolescents who exhibit a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disturbances. You will play a crucial role in helping these young individuals navigate their emotional landscapes while striving to enhance their academic and social experiences.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Tennessee.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services to children and adolescents.
• Demonstrable knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and solution-based interventions.
• Outstanding communication skills for effective engagement with youth and families, along with the ability to foster collaborative relationships.
• Strong analytical abilities and adept problem-solving skills to address complex situations that may arise during therapy sessions.

• Experience working within school settings or with youth populations is highly valued.
• Familiarity with school systems and the challenges faced by students in educational environments is desired.
• Prior involvement in crisis intervention and family support services could be an asset.
