Distributed Antenna Cable and Antenna Installer
Location: Northern California or Remote | Travel: 50% (Regional/Multi-State) | Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
Are you a hands-on technical professional who enjoys variety in your workday? We are seeking a cable installer to join our field team. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical installation and inspection of cellular and land mobile radio communication infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include communicating with customers to understand their needs, assessing the project requirements, reading design documentation, and installing new cables. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has an excellent understanding of basic electrical equipment.
From working on large-scale construction sites to performing high-end vehicle integrations, you will ensure our clients' communications infrastructure are reliable and high-performing. This role is perfect for a technician who loves being in the field, traveling to new locations, and working in small teams.
Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs
  • Work effectively within active, large-scale construction environments, following all technical blueprints and safety protocols
  • Ability to operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) in a safe and efficient manner
  • Install cables in commercial and industrial spaces
  • Remove old, damaged, or unnecessary cables and equipment
  • Utilize RF testing equipment (wattmeters, service monitors, etc.) to verify system performance and coverage

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Cable Installer, low-voltage technician, or related experience is preferred
  • Independent: Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Travel Ready: Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time for multi-state project assignments.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to work on ladders, in confined spaces (like vehicle dashboards or equipment closets), bend repeatedly, lift heavy objects, work in small spaces, and outdoors in varying weather.
  • Licensing: Valid drivers license and a clean driving record are required.
