• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of clients to accurately identify their mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to create effective and personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailoring methods to best fit each individual's unique circumstances and preferences.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulatory standards, actively engaging in continuous documentation practices throughout therapy sessions.
• Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and peer counselors, to develop holistic treatment strategies that address all aspects of client care.
• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to strengthen treatment approaches and share valuable insights with colleagues.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment modalities, and available community resources, thus empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying up-to-date with research advancements in mental health and integrating new knowledge into practice.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Verve, you will primarily work with adults and adolescents facing mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, and mood disorders. A compassionate and empathetic approach is essential in fostering trust with clients, ensuring they feel safe and understood during their therapeutic journey.

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Must hold an active state license to practice as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT).
• A strong foundation in solution-based psychotherapy techniques, with the ability to adapt interventions according to the specific needs and backgrounds of clients.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex clinical situations effectively.
