Work Environment

This position allows for remote work, which offers flexibility and convenience without compromising the collaborative culture that West Behavioral fosters among its professionals. As a licensed therapist, you will be engaged in a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, where you can focus on providing high-quality mental health services while leveraging digital tools and platforms for seamless communication.

Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health status and needs of clients.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based methods, ensuring that therapy is tailored to each client's specific challenges.
  • Implementing a range of therapeutic strategies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster positive change and recovery in clients.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current licensure in Arizona as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
