Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our innovative team, providing flexible therapeutic services focused on enhancing the lives of children and families. This full-time remote position primarily serves the Fort Collins, Colorado area, allowing therapists to significantly impact the well-being of youth with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges.

Work Environment

This position is designed to be completely remote, providing flexibility and the ability to tailor your workweek to meet both client and personal needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual in-home therapy sessions and facilitate group therapy sessions within our outpatient center, specifically designed for children facing various challenges.
  • Implement evidence-based strategies for anger management, coping skills, and social skills training, actively working to mitigate high-risk behaviors such as self-injury or physical aggression.
  • Empower youth and caregivers through the development of decision-making skills and behavioral management strategies tailored to in-home environments.
  • Ensure effective and consistent collaboration with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals involved in the clientโ€™s care.
  • Complete and submit required documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, within specified deadlines to ensure cohesive treatment planning.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case progress and contribute to collective recommendations for client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your work will primarily involve a diverse cross-section of children aged 3 to 20, particularly those with developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. Your engagement will contribute directly to improving their quality of life and the well-being of their families through tailored therapeutic approaches and individualized support.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license is a must.
  • Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, specifically from 4 PM to 7 PM, is essential; weekend availability is highly desirable.
  • A valid driverโ€™s license and access to a registered vehicle are mandatory for travel to client locations.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting is required before employment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing positive behavioral support is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience working with children and adolescents aged 3 to 20, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will be highly regarded.
Compensation and Benefits
