As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Goldfinch Counseling, you will undertake significant responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health statuses and diagnosing when necessary using standardized clinical tools, such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
• Developing individualized treatment plans that reflect cultural diversity and the unique needs of patients, particularly those dealing with trauma associated with cancer.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to monitor patient progress, while providing ongoing interventions and strategies that align with their mental health diagnoses.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation according to regulatory standards, ensuring that treatment records and reports are meticulously prepared.
• Collaborating with patients, family members, and interdisciplinary teams to establish a comprehensive treatment approach that facilitates recovery and enhances quality of life.
