Job description

Remote Senior UI Developer

Apex Systems is seeking candidates for a Remote Senior UI Developer with 2-3 years of experience with React/Node.js.

This role is a 6 month contract with a possible extension. This role may also convert full time.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in UI development

Technical Skills:

  • Experience in React.js, Flux, JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, SASS, NPM, WebPack, Mocha.js, Karma
  • Experience in one or more source code repository like SVN, GIT, VSTS etc.
  • Basic understanding on databases (SQL & NOSQL DB's) concepts
  • Experience in Cloud based application development (Like Amazon – S3, Lambda Etc.)
  • N-tier Architectures, Continuous Integration, Source Control, Scrum / Agile development methodologies.
  • Working knowledge or understanding of Microservices development & Java would be plus

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop technical solutions to build new or enhance existing software in accordance with departmental development standards meeting business needs -80%
  • Support in decision making on technology, designs, weighing pros and cons of multiple options and Driving migration of applications to newer or better software and taking ownership of enforcement on team -10%
  • Continuous improvement of unit testing process to make sure verification done before delivering on QA environment and Supporting initiatives to improve existing technology and tools used in the organization -10%
