We're a small, early-stage team, and the legal groundwork — terms of service, privacy, contracts, how we structure partnerships — is being built right alongside the product itself. This is a chance to see how a startup's legal foundation actually gets laid, not review it after the fact.
What You'll Do
• Research and help draft foundational documents — terms of service, privacy policy, and user agreements — for an AI product still taking shape
• Review vendor, contractor, and partnership agreements, and flag terms that need the founder's attention
• Help think through data privacy and AI-specific compliance questions as the platform adds new features
• Support early-stage business housekeeping
• Summarize legal research in plain language the founder can act on quickly
Who We're Looking For
• A current law student, paralegal-track student, or undergraduate with interest in startup, tech, or contract law
• Comfortable doing independent research and writing clearly about what you found
• Curious about the legal questions unique to AI products — data use, disclosures, liability
• Discreet and professional; you'll be exposed to confidential business information
• Comfortable working independently and communicating across time zones

This is an internship. College or law school credit can be arranged if authorized and approved through your institution's internship program — we're happy to complete any paperwork required. Internship runs for the Fall 2026 semester.
