Capitol raised will be use to fuel their expansion in the US market. Its exciting time to be working with this company and the upside potential is excellent! Due to thisexpansion in the US, they are actively looking to hire 3 NEW Account Managers / Business Development Managers to sell their nutritional ingredients, excipients and nutritional pre-mixes to customers and prospect for new business within their segments.THREE NEW SALES - ACCOUNT MANAGERS due to this EXPANSION. Each of these roles will focus on a different market segment asfollows:1)Dietary Supplements, Nutraceuticals Manufacturers: Selling individual nutritional Ingredients and nutritional pre-mixes to Nutraceutial and Dietary Supplement Manufacturers2) Pharmaceutical: Selling Excipients to Pharmaceutical Manufactuerers., 3) Functional Foods, Bakery, Infant formula, Sports Nutrition:Selling individual nutritional Ingredients and nutritional pre-mixes to Functional Food and Beverage Manufacturers used for fortifiction, especially Bakery productsThe individual will develop and grow business of existing accounts as well as identify and initiate new opportunities for profitable growth within the segment/region. They will offer a competitive base, bonus potential with an up-capped bonus on new business, car allowance, benefits, 401K etcTResponsibilitiesMust have similar sales experience selling nutritional ingredients and/or nutritional pre-mixes into the approperiate segmentRepresent the company in a highly professional manner to both key customers and prospective accounts.Manage relationships and sales to customers within the market.Commercial responsibility to deliver agreed sales targets for the business.Identify and on-board opportunities with customers & prospects where company can offer value added solutions.Work closely with cross-functional technical, commercial and operational personnel to progress key identified opportunities.Develop a thorough understanding of the products/capabilities offered by company to the industry.Develop an understanding of competitors, their products and key market drivers.Provide timely information on current and prospective customers, competitors and trends in the Nutritional Ingredient segment.Define an account plan including relationship management and budget in line with other relevant commercial plans. Update regularly based on (own) analysis or trends and developments.Prepare and submit periodical reports per defined formats & proceduresPrepare proposals for contracts, lead and/or participate in and/or support negotiations, including defining the negotiation strategy.Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.Operate in a highly ethical manner internally & externally and in full alignment with the company?s way of working.Requirements Must have at least a 4-year BA/BS degree: Food Science & Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Human Nutrition, Business Administration, Marketing etc. or equivalent experience. Must have 3-5 years? of sales experience selling similar functional, nutritional ingredients or pre-mixes to either: Dietary Supplement, Nutraceuticals, Sports Nutrition,Functional Foods/Beverage or Pharmaceutical ManufacturersWork from Home office and must be willing to travel as needed within the US (specified territory).Knowledge of Dietary Supplements, Nutraceuticals, Sports Nutritional Products and/or Functional Foods/Beverages is preferred.Experience working with similiar nutritional ingredients / premixesMust have excellent communication skills are critical to success of this role.Prefer an entrepreneurial attitude; self starter/hunter mentality.Must have the ability to work remotely.
