Job description

Who We Are

Yieldmo is an advertising platform that helps brands invent creative experiences through tech and AI, using custom ad formats, proprietary attention signals, predictive format selection, and privacy-safe premium inventory curation. Yieldmo believes all ads should be human-centered, tailored, and provoke users' emotions and actions. Yieldmo helps brands deliver the best ad for every impression opportunity, merging creative and media for proven results.

What We Need

We're looking for a driven, curious intern to support Yieldmo's Sports & Emerging Product team as we build partnerships at the intersection of sports, media, and brand marketing. In this role, you'll help shape how brands connect with fans during the moments that matter mostโ€”developing compelling narratives around the sports calendar, supporting partnership development, and contributing to innovative fan engagement strategies. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, bring strong storytelling instincts, and are energized by turning insights into action. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the business side of sports while contributing to work that directly influences how brands show up in culture-defining moments.

What You Can Expect In This Role

  • Research prospective and existing clients to support strategic outreach and meeting preparation
  • Develop tailored advertising proposals and client-facing pitch decks in Google Slides or PowerPoint
  • Create storytelling collateral that maps key fan moments across the sports calendar and highlights where brand opportunity and fan passion intersect
  • Analyze the sports media landscape to identify emerging narratives, emotional storylines, and cultural moments that influence consumer behavior
  • Collaborate with professional sports team partners on initiatives designed to evolve the business side of sports and fan engagement
  • Participate in live client calls and meetings to gain exposure to partnership strategy, relationship management, and the deal lifecycle
  • Draft follow-up communications and support active partnership opportunities from outreach through execution
  • Build and maintain curated prospect lists with personalized outreach designed to uncover new direct brand opportunities
  • Leverage AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance repeatable processes
  • Present an end-of-summer recap to stakeholders summarizing key contributions, insights, and learnings

Requirements

  • You have a genuine passion for sports and understand the emotional narratives, rivalries, and fan experiences that shape the industry
  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Media, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field (Rising Sophomore or Junior preferred), or equivalent experience
  • You bring strong storytelling and presentation skills, with proficiency in Google Slides or PowerPoint
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • You are comfortable in collaborative and client-facing settings, with strong verbal and written communication skills

Hiring Process

Select candidates will be invited to schedule a 30 minute screening call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. We will discuss the Hiring Process details at that time. The hiring process typically includes, but is not limited to:

  • A 60 minute video interview with the Hiring Manager.
  • Candidates will be invited to join a remote on-site interview round, consisting of video interviews with various team members and leadership.
  • Successful candidates will subsequently be made an offer.

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with the sports media landscape and the storylines, rivalries, and seasonal moments that drive fan passion and brand interest
  • Experience in or strong interest in sports partnerships, team business operations, or fan experience innovation
  • Exposure to ad tech, digital media, or programmatic advertising environments
  • Experience with sales, client services, partnerships, or business development roles
  • Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, MediaRadar, or SellerCrowd
