Job description

Direct Agents is looking for a Sports Copywriter to support our Creative Services team on client projects. This role is ideal for a writer with a strong grasp of the sports landscape and a deep understanding of digital marketing with a passion for crafting compelling, engaging, and effective copy. You will be responsible for producing high-quality content across various digital platforms, ensuring that our clients' messaging aligns with their goals and brand voice.
This role pays $35-$40/hour, depending on experience. This role will be fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Projects:
    • Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for social media, email campaigns, product descriptions, and more.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create content that aligns with client briefs and brand guidelines.
    • Revise and adapt copy based on client feedback and performance data.
    • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all written content for each client
    • Collaborate effectively with creative teams and clients to ensure deadlines are met and expectations are exceeded.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing creative input and new ideas for client campaigns

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a digital agency or similar environment.
  • Proven experience creating compelling copy for digital platforms (websites, social media, email, blogs, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and content strategy.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different tones, voices, and industries.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in B2B and B2C copywriting.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Knowledge of web analytics and performance metrics.
