• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and spiritual caregivers, to deliver holistic care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health resources, coping strategies, and support systems available during the hospice journey.
• Keep abreast of current research and best practices in mental health therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

In this role, you will support a diverse population of hospice patients and their families who are navigating complex emotional landscapes related to end-of-life care. Your role will include addressing grief, loss, and transition issues, providing comfort and support, and helping families make informed decisions regarding their care. Your expertise will be essential in helping these individuals find peace and understanding during a crucial time in their lives.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Kansas.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of solution-based psychotherapy techniques.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to engage effectively with patients and families.

• Prior experience working in a hospice or end-of-life care setting preferred.
• Experience with family systems therapy and grief counseling is advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth technology.
