Guiding Light Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic telehealth team. In this full-time role, you will engage with clients across Florida, providing therapies based on a structured Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your schedule. Our workweek is structured from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, without on-call responsibilities, giving you the freedom to focus on client interaction and personal well-being. You will be provided with a user-friendly Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system that streamlines your documentation, treatment planning, and client management processes, ensuring that technical tasks do not detract from the core objective of client care.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques, primarily focusing on CBT, to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate live video therapy sessions, ensuring confidentiality and a safe space for client discussions.
• Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Provide clients with self-guided resources and therapeutic exercises to enhance their skills and resilience.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals during weekly consultation sessions, sharing insights and discussing complex cases to promote holistic care.
• Receive administrative and billing support, allowing you to focus solely on client care rather than paperwork.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor at Guiding Light Therapy, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults facing various psychological challenges. This includes clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to connect and adapt therapy to meet the unique needs of each client will enhance their therapeutic experience and outcomes.

• A Master's or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
• Active and independent licensure in Florida as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of one year of experience with independent licensure, with strong preference for candidates with two or more years of experience in CBT.
• Deep knowledge of and comfort treating clients from varying backgrounds with evidence-based interventions.
• Proficient in using technology and open to integrating digital tools into therapeutic practices.

• Experience working in a telehealth setting, which enhances your understanding of remote client engagement.
• A demonstrated ability to support a diverse client population, using culturally competent techniques.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and telehealth platforms to enhance client interactions.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
