Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship trained Diagnostic Radiologist in Meridian, MS. This position is a hybrid role, meaning it will be remote and onsite. We also accept J1 Visas.

Ochsner Health's Department of Radiology offers a full spectrum of radiological services provided by nationally recognized subspecialized radiologists. We offer a full array of diagnostic and treatment procedures using some of the most advanced technology available. We are also one of the leading radiologic academic centers in the Gulf South, with high clinical volumes across all sub-specialties.

Community:

Meridian, MS: A mid-sized town of about 45 to 50,000. Located on two interstates, it is centrally located and is close to several major cities including New Orleans, LA (3 hours); Jackson, MS (1.5 hours); Birmingham, AL (2.5 hours); Atlanta, GA (4 hours); and the beaches of Gulf Shores, AL (3.5 hours). It is a very family Oriented community with conservative values, a low cost of Living, low crime rate and excellent school options. Our beautiful year-round warm weather allows for multiple outdoor activities including camping, fishing, hiking, boating, running, hunting and Horseback riding.

Opportunity Details:

  • Part time or Full time
  • Duties include day time coverage of outpatient and hospital inpatient examinations from Ochsner community hospitals, outpatient facilities, and urgent care centers.
  • After hours ED coverage provided by Ochsner employed Emergency Radiologists or contracted tele radiologists.
  • Current weekend coverage approximately 1 in 8 and one late shift (12 noon - 8 pm) per month
  • MQSA qualified to read Screening and Diagnostic Breast Imaging (including digital breast tomosynthesis) preferred.
  • IR coverage preferred.
