REMOTE POSITION
The Grant Adherence Specialist will track and prepare reports on the grants awarded and maintain compliance with funders requirements. Will also work with Fatherhood and Healthy Relationships program to seek additional grant funding for families and children.
  • Identify and research local, state, federal, and private funding opportunities aligned with organizational programs.
  • Maintain a grant calendar tracking deadlines, requirements, and reporting timelines.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to diversify and grow funding sources.
  • Develops strategic plan for grant writing for each prioritized project with timelines and activities.
  • Translate program goals, outcomes, and data into strong narratives and measurable objectives.
  • Collaborate with program Vice President and Program Director to gather program details, budgets and impact stories.
  • Ensure proposals align with funder priorities and follow all submission guidelines.
  • Track awarded grants and maintain compliance with funders requirements.
  • Monitor grant deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Work with program and data teams to collect and analyze outcomes and performance metrics.
  • Help develop logic models and measurable program goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with foundations, federal government agencies, and funding partners.
  • Research and track federal funding opportunities by monitoring Grants.gov and federal agency forecast for upcoming opportunities.
  • Familiarity with federal agencies such as HHS, DOJ, DOL, HUD, and SAMHSA.
  • Supports leadership in developing partnerships and memorandums of understanding (MOUs).
  • Assist with continuation and renewal applications.
  • Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies, and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state, and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms.
  • Ensures clients' rights are protected.
  • Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
  • Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or related field. Preferred
  • Proven track record of successful grant submissions and funding awards.
  • Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and grant databases.
  • Minimum of two years of grant writing or nonprofit development experience.
  • Successful track record in grant awards
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a drug screen, MVR, KBI, Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance check and an Adult Registry Check.
  • FBI Fingerprint check
  • Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
  • Must have valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
