• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their emotional and psychological needs.

Our primary focus is on elderly individuals facing various mental health challenges, including those related to grief, depression, anxiety, and chronic health issues. As a mental health counselor specializing in geriatric care, you will work with clients who encompass a broad spectrum of backgrounds and cultural influences. This role requires an understanding of the unique psychological and emotional needs that arise during this phase of life.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of four years of recent experience providing mental health support and counseling specifically to elderly clients.
• Advanced training or specialization in geriatric mental health and considerations related to aging populations.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices that enhance mental well-being among older adults.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop customized treatment plans.
