Job description

Job Tittle: AEM SOLUTIONS LEAD

SCOPE OF SERVICES: Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, jobs, and integrations while ensuring stability and performance across environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dispatcher configuration, caching, and overall system performance, and support CI/CD pipelines including Cloud Manager operations, automated builds, deployments, and testing. Work closely with Architects and Product Owners to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, while adhering to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines. Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and guide AEM development practices, while integrating AEM with third party systems such as CRM, DAM, analytics tools, and custom APIs. Monitor application health and implement observability and diagnostics, while staying current with AEM features, cloud services, and Adobe Experience Cloud advancements.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

• 8+ years of experience in AEM development; strong hands-on experience with AEM Sites, Assets, Sling Jobs and workflows.

• Provide technical leadership to development teams, including mentoring, conducting code reviews, and promoting industry best practices (DevOps, Cloud, Agile).

• Collaborate with business teams to define requirements, identify risks and define maintainable solutions within the AEM platform

• Design, develop and support AEM components, integrations, and applications for building websites

• Expertise in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Strong knowledge of Dispatcher configs, caching techniques, and performance tuning

• Experience deploying websites to AEM Cloud Service and on-premises installations.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Jenkins, or other DevOps tools

• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience resolving production issues in AEM environments.

• Familiarity with Agile development practices and team collaboration tools.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with Adobe Target is not required but consider a plus

• Experience integrating Adobe Analytics with AEM is a+

• Experience with Akamai Content Delivery Network for websites

• Experience with language translation tools such as Smartling or Transperfect

• Experience with search engines such as Coveo or Solr
