Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health through video consultations, taking care to establish rapport and trust from the outset.

  • Perform detailed mental health evaluations including the gathering of comprehensive patient histories and conducting mental status examinations that inform treatment plans.

  • Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized behavioral health treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to the specific needs of each client.

  • Provide therapeutic support utilizing various modalities, ensuring consistent progress evaluations that adjust treatment approaches as necessary.

  • Maintain meticulous records of sensitive patient information, including assessment results and treatment plans, in compliance with all privacy regulations.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay informed about the latest advancements in psychosocial interventions and mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele who may face various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and stress-related disorders. You will engage with patients from different backgrounds, ensuring that you respect cultural sensitivities and adapt your therapeutic approaches accordingly.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Art Therapy, or Psychology is required.

  • Current and valid licensure in the state of practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to engage effectively with clients via digital platforms.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies, coupled with a familiarity with clinical software applications.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with continuing education requirements related to evidence-based psychosocial interventions.

Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of prior experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred.

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English would be an asset, enhancing our ability to serve a broader population.
