The Bright Shelter Healing Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate team. This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while focusing on providing high-quality outpatient mental health services. • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to communicate client progress, discuss needs and concerns, and strategize on potential issues that may arise during treatment.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records and progress notes in a timely manner, adhering strictly to organizational policies and state regulations.
• Participate actively in designing and adjusting treatment plans based on comprehensive psychosocial assessments and established therapeutic methodologies.
• Provide individualized counseling sessions and crisis intervention to clients, utilizing evidence-based techniques to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Assist with care coordination and discharge planning, ensuring clients have seamless access to community services and support systems necessary for their recovery.
• Engage with families and support networks to facilitate understanding and reinforcement of treatment goals established for the client.

Our patient population includes individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral issues. As a therapist, you will play a critical role in guiding clients through their recovery journeys and promoting long-term wellness.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or a comparable clinical license.
• A minimum of three years of experience providing mental health services in an outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency with diverse clinical populations.
• Strong foundation in delivering evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to client needs.
• Exceptional organizational skills that enable effective management of client caseloads and documentation.
• Proficiency in current technology and software tools, including comprehensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices, with a focus on integrating technology into therapeutic practices.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral networks to enhance client engagement and support.
• Background in working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or underrepresented communities.

• Annual salary competitive within the range of $100,000 - $105,000, reflective of experience and qualifications.
