As a member of our detox center team, you will engage in virtual consultations, group therapy sessions, and multidisciplinary team meetings, leveraging technology to facilitate comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Metrapolis Behavioral Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments to determine the counseling needs of clients, focusing on co-occurring disorders.
  • Utilizing DSM criteria to evaluate clients for substance abuse diagnoses and determine appropriate treatment plans based on ASAM criteria.
  • Preparing and implementing substance abuse counseling plans that encompass individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Developing client discharge plans and continuum of care strategies to ensure seamless transitions and appropriate follow-up support.
  • Documenting all counseling sessions, treatment plans, assessments, and follow-ups accurately in client clinical records.
  • Managing a caseload by coordinating services and engaging in treatment planning and clinical charting.
  • Providing support coordination for clients and their families, including record-keeping of services provided.
  • Collaborating with external referral sources, such as legal entities and educational institutions, to ensure comprehensive client support.
  • Facilitating crisis interventions and treatment strategies as part of a multidisciplinary team approach.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. This patient population requires tailored therapeutic interventions that address both their addiction and psychological health, emphasizing recovery and rehabilitation.

Qualifications
