This position operates within an outpatient setting, providing the flexibility of a remote work environment combined with the dynamic interactions of an office atmosphere. • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, integrating assessments of the patient’s history, including any criminal or substance abuse factors.
• Formulate and implement effective treatment plans based on established clinical guidelines and best practices tailored to individual diagnoses.
• Deliver on-call crisis intervention services and emergency consultations, directly impacting patient care during high-stress situations.
• Evaluate and document suicide risk with precision using standardized tools, ensuring all assessments adhere to care protocols and legal requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, progress, and treatment outcomes, effectively meeting all ethical and reporting standards.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate holistic diagnoses and management of psychiatric disorders and mental health conditions.
• Engage in ongoing consultations regarding complex cases, contributing insights and recommendations to foster optimal treatment outcomes.
• Offer supportive therapeutic counseling and education to individuals, empowering them through challenges and enabling better coping strategies.

This role primarily focuses on supporting mothers and individuals from underserved communities, recognizing the unique challenges they face. You will provide necessary mental health support through tailored therapy approaches that resonate with their specific experiences, addressing cultural, social, and economic factors that influence mental health outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.
• An independent licensure in the state of Oregon as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to veterans' homes for on-site visits as needed.
• Proficient communication skills, particularly via electronic methods, and adeptness in using various software applications relevant to mental health record-keeping.

• Demonstrable experience in mental health assessments and crisis intervention.
• Strong background in community outreach and engagement, particularly with populations facing socio-economic challenges.
• Familiarity with co-occurring mental health and substance dependency issues.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical records for patient tracking and documentation.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
