The role of LCSW at our remote detox center embraces a flexible work setting that promotes a healthy work-life balance. • Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial evaluations to assess patient needs and barriers, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with medical and support staff, utilizing evidence-based modalities.
• Deliver outpatient mental health therapy through individual and group sessions while monitoring progress and adapting interventions as necessary.
• Document all social work activities accurately in patients' medical records, adhering to departmental standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, enhancing understanding and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Coordinate advocacy activities within the community, connecting patients with external resources to improve their quality of life.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and clinical best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
• Uphold ethical standards and corporate values, ensuring fairness, respect, and excellence in every interaction with patients.

As an LCSW at Sun Valley Consultation Services, you will work primarily with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. This role requires a trauma-informed approach, addressing the diverse psychosocial challenges that patients face. Your expertise will be critical in guiding them toward improved psychosocial functioning and self-determination.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate institution.
• A current license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure at the LCSW level.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and understanding of human development across the lifespan.

• At least six months to one year of clinical experience, preferably in health or mental health settings.
• Experience working with populations experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with a focus on collaborative treatment planning.
