Summary:
The Project Manager II leads the design and installation of EV charging infrastructure projects, serving as the primary accountability owner for full project delivery from customer contract signing to commercial operation. You'll collaborate across Customer Success, Energy, Supply Chain, Operations, Project Finance, Vehicle Titling & Registration, and Marketing to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional customer experiences.
This role reports to the Director, Project Execution, is based in Boston, and has a 25-30% travel expectation.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from pre-contract through execution, completion, and operational deployment.
  • Lead weekly project status calls with customers and coordinate across Customer Success, Energy, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Manage multiple projects across various stages simultaneously.
  • Select engineering consultants and installation contractors for each project.
  • Negotiate and execute project-based subcontractor agreements.
  • Coordinate with utilities for service upgrades and interconnection scopes of work.
  • Support submission of all project permitting requirements.
  • Establish and maintain project cost forecasts and actuals.
  • Develop and drive detailed project schedules.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to solve unique project challenges.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of direct project management experience in electrical or civil construction, OR 6+ years of direct construction project management experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred:
  • EV charging infrastructure experience.
  • Renewable energy project experience (V2G, BESS, solar, storage, microgrid).

$110,000 - $130,000 a year
