Position Overview

Sr. Consulting Project Managers deliver transformation projects for strategic Autodesk customers as part of our Customer Success Consulting team. You will manage multiple medium to large projects, or programs of work, at a time. As a Sr. Project Manager, you will lead the execution and completion of all consulting services for our customers. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget and meet customer expectations. Our Project Management team is focused on world-class delivery. You will remotely join our team based in the United States reporting to one of the PM Managers.

Responsibilities

  • You will project manage consulting projects for Autodesk customers, including data migration projects, software development projects and software trainings

  • Lead internal and external team members to meet project goals

  • Maintain communication amongst account team and project team members, lead project review meetings

  • Translate project scope and vision into clear goals for the team

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and project control tools using standard PM and PSA software

  • Comply with internal reporting standards and practices

  • You will perform project plan analysis and evaluate risk and develop risk mitigation plans

  • Support sales and business development by writing and/or reviewing proposals, writing scopes of work, and developing delivery estimates and resource requirements for solution

  • Develop strong client and stakeholder relationships and maintaining effective communication channels

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6-10 years experience as a project manager, ideally in a professional services or consulting environment

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field

  • PMP / PMI qualified or equivalent

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve project objectives and deliver projects that ultimately go into production within cost/schedule constraints

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team of technical experts, sales, subject matter experts, and other project managers

  • An ability to review and write scopes of work, project-related documentation, and develop and present presentations

  • You demonstrate coaching and leadership skills, coupled with a collaborative and inclusive mindset

Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
