Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Updating and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and state regulations, including session notes, treatment plan reviews, and progress updates.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, building strong therapeutic alliances with clients while collaborating effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to further enhance support systems within the community.
  • Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, incorporating creativity and individualized strategies that resonate with clients, helping them achieve and exceed their therapeutic goals.
  • Coordinating care with case managers, medical teams, families, and schools to ensure a comprehensive approach to a client’s mental health journey.
  • Actively participating in weekly clinical staff meetings to share insights, discuss progress, and engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Completing other essential tasks that may arise ensuring that all aspects of your role contribute significantly to our clients’ well-being and recovery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and other mental health conditions. Your experience and understanding in treating various demographics will play a crucial role in addressing the unique challenges they face, thus fostering a more accepting and supportive community.

Qualifications

To be considered for this LPC position, you must hold a master’s degree in a behavioral science field or a related area from an accredited institution, alongside an active clinical licensure (LCPC) in Virginia. Preferred Experience
