Join the TELUS Health's as a Project Manager at the heart of a strategic modernization program for our retirement and benefits administration systems-a large-scale initiative that includes complex software implementations and data migrations for large scale business clients.
You'll manage these projects end-to-end, navigating a matrix structure where you'll collaborate with QA, development, and business analysis teams dispersed across the United States and Canada. This requires strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to build influence through credibility and relationships, and comfort navigating competing organizational priorities.
This is the perfect opportunity if you're seeking growth in complex project leadership, exposure to technology modernization, and a role where your software implementation expertise is truly valued.
Occasional travels are required for client demos, project launches, and high priority escalations, while working 100% from home the rest of the time. What You'll Do
  • Support project delivery by coordinating plans, milestones, dependencies, and team activities under the guidance of senior project leadership
  • Coordinate project activities across cross-functional teams including Configuration, Data, QA, Product, and Development
  • Maintain detailed project plans, action logs, RAID logs, milestone trackers, and status materials to support accurate and timely reporting
  • Facilitate working sessions and project team meetings; document decisions, actions, owners, and follow-ups
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early; support mitigation planning and escalate items that require senior attention
  • Prepare and support client-facing status updates, deliverable tracking, meeting materials, and follow-up communications
  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, templates, and governance processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned and project feedback
  • Apply modern delivery practices, including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD concepts, to support team planning and execution.
  • Use AI tools to improve personal productivity and day-to-day project coordination, including drafting meeting notes, action summaries, status inputs, and follow-up communications.
  • Support AI-assisted delivery practices by helping maintain accurate project data, dependency inputs, RAID updates, and release readiness information
  • Contribute ideas to improve delivery processes and team effectiveness
What You BringTechnical Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end software implementation projects, data migrations, system conversions, formula development, and form customization from start to finish
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification validated by concrete project accomplishments, solid references, and evidence of managing complex projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to facilitate meetings, prepare project documentation, and communicate with clients and internal stakeholders in English
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with project tools (Azure DevOps, MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Practical experience using generative AI, copilots, or automation tools to improve individual productivity, documentation quality, project tracking, and routine reporting
  • Availability to travel occasionally for client demos, project launches, and escalations management across the United States and Canada
Assets
  • Knowledge of Agile principles, DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and ticketing tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)
  • Previous experience with pension administration, benefits platforms, or HR technology solutions

Salary Range : 90,00.00 - 110,000.00 CAD Annual
