• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy, to individuals, couples, groups, and families.
• Document client progress and therapy sessions accurately and consistently in compliance with legal and ethical standards while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to facilitate integrated care that addresses your clients’ diverse needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health research.

You will work with a diverse range of clients who may be experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Our organization is particularly dedicated to serving underrepresented populations and ensuring that all clients have access to the mental health support they need.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.
• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards relevant to mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with a diverse clientele.
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies to enhance client care.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• Experience in community mental health settings or similar environments is advantageous.

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
