As a licensed mental health counselor, you will:

• Conduct in-depth assessments and deliver compassionate mental health counseling through secure video sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities to create individualized care plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client.
• Facilitate solution-focused therapy, encouraging clients to gain insights into their emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships.
• Monitor individual client progress and adapt treatment strategies accordingly to promote effective outcomes and foster resilience.
• Collaborate with the team to share best practices, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and safety protocols.

Our client population primarily consists of stable, low acuity adults experiencing a diverse range of mental health issues. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license, such as:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Psychologist (PsyD)
• No limited or provisional licenses and a clean disciplinary history.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in client interactions.
• Strong computer proficiency, including experience with video conferencing software.
• A reliable computer with webcam and audio capabilities for teletherapy sessions and access to a dependable internet connection.

While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in a community health setting or with a background in trauma-informed care may be viewed favorably. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and an understanding of the needs of marginalized communities will enhance your ability to serve our client population effectively.
